We are pleased to inform you that, as instructed by the Ministry of Health, we will be making some changes to our social visitation process.
While infection control measures must remain in place, there is an opportunity for us to ease/modify visitor restrictions. We strongly believe that face time visits are a more secure way to connect with your loved one and should be utilized instead of an in person visit unless you feel that it is absolutely necessary to visit in person.
Following changes have been made as per Ministry of Health’s directions:
- Visitor vaccination status will be verified by facility staff prior to entry.
- All visitors will be required to wear medical masks inside the facility. Those who are fully immunized will need to wear a medical mask while they are moving around the facility and in common areas, but not when they are inside the resident’s room and in direct contact with the resident, as long as physical distance can be maintained from other residents in the room.
- Those who are not fully immunized will need to wear medical masks at all times.
- Visitors who do not demonstrate that they are fully immunized are required to wear a medical mask for the duration of their visit.
- Visitors are no longer required to book their visit in advance. We strongly recommend that the visits take place during designated visiting hours 0830 hrs- 1700 hrs.
The health and safety of our clients and staff is our first priority, and we appreciate your cooperation.
