Vistitation Update.
As instructed by the Ministry of Health effective March 18, 2022, we will be making some changes to our current social visitation process.
We strongly believe that face time visits are a more secure way to connect with your loved one and should be utilized instead of an in person visit unless you feel that it is absolutely necessary to visit in person.
The following changes have been made as per the Ministry of Health’s directions:
- All fully vaccinated visitors are now allowed to visit their loved ones. We strongly recommend you keep the number of visitors to the maximum of two adults and one child per resident per visit to ensure appropriate physical distancing.
- Visitor’s vaccination status will be verified by facility staff prior to entry.
- Rapid point of care testing must be completed by every visitor before gaining entry into the building. A Rapid Test will be administered by the staff screeners and visitors with positive or indecisive tests will be advised to leave and follow public health guidelines.
- All visitors will be required to wear medical masks inside the facility, while moving around the facility or in common areas, but when the visitor is inside the resident’s room, a mask is optional and can be removed, as long as physical distance can be maintained. We strongly recommend all visitors wear a mask even while inside the resident’s room.
- All social visits must take place within designated visiting hours 0830 hrs-1700 hrs.
- Currently we do not allow visits in the dining rooms.
The health and safety of our clients and staff is our first priority, and we appreciate your cooperation.
Thank you,
